I’ve always enjoyed my time at Donna’s bar. I’m a photographer and I’ve had a blast taken pics there and getting to know everybody in the bar including the owner. I’ve made great friends, and have had very memorable experiences that have always been great. It’s a safe space where I feel I can fully be myself and always have a blast 👍

One of the most welcoming and exciting bars in Bowling Green! The owners deeply care about the community and have done an INCREDIBLE job renovating the space over the past year. Fun drinks, live music, karaoke, pool, this place has it all! I’ve loved Donna’s for years and is my go-to spot on a night out!

I lost my contacts while break dancing last weekend. The bartenders cleared the dance floor and organized a search party to help find them. Once the contacts were located the DJ resumed the music and we danced the night away. There's multiple options for using the restroom. I personally enjoy the communal option. It allows me to make friendly banter with my neighbor while I relieve myself. They stock the fancy myers soap, I love that stuff. I usually do a two pump for a really good lather. The owner told me he didn't mind and the soap was there for my convience. The pool tables are orange.

I LOVE Donna’s! The owner is the sweetest, kindest soul! The bartenders are so helpful and friendly! They have such great entertainment and wonderful times! Please go check them out!

Funky, fresh, and full of sexy staff members. What a great experience for any night out. The owner, Aaron is EXTREMELY kind and an expert at his craft. The bartenders are cool too. Everyone is very knowledgeable and offers great recommendations. The specials are fantastic, the music is great, and the vibe is vibe-y. Idk what that means either, but it’s right.

Donna’s is your neighborhood hangout bar. It’s open to all walks of life and a great space to meet friends for a casual hangout. On weekends, they feature live music and drag shows, with new acts and familiar faces alike. During the week, I love their karaoke nights. Their drinks are fairly priced with a wide selection of liquor and beer. The service is quick and easy and there are plenty of pool tables and pong tables for activities while you’re listening to rad music. 10/10 recommend to anyone who lives in BG or is just passing through.

Truly one of the brightest spots in BG. Donnas bar is a safe and welcoming space to any and all people. We’re lucky to have something like this space in our town. Wether they are highlighting new local bands, live performances, game and social nights, or just a listening ear and some company Donnas never fails. The owners are fantastic and All the Staff and genuinely the nicest people you would ever meet. Try the Georgia with the home made mint syrup! It’s truly spectacular!

Donna’s is the ONLY club/bar/nightlife space that I have EVER felt comfortable. It’s a safe haven for ANYONE and EVERYONE who just wants to feel included, a space where everyone is welcome and able to call home (as much as you can call a bar home). It is incredible to be part of a community that feeds the atmosphere as much as the atmosphere feeds the community.

In one sentence, I could not have more great things to say about this bar. In more words, Donna’s is a beacon of community for our community. The staff and owners dedicate themselves to ensuring that all feel welcome and have a good time, all while ensuring that everyone in the bar is safe, respected, and treated with dignity by all… which is not an easy feat. Still, they do so with such ease. It makes me feel confident that they are so confident in what they do and how they do it. Aside from feeling safe and respected in Donna’s, I feel like I am a part of something when I am there, and that seems to be a consensus. Donna’s truly has something for everyone—live bands playing a multiplicity of different kinds of music, DJs, drag shows, theme nights, tabletop game nights, trivia, TV show watch parties, pool tables, ping pong, and an impressive collection of VHS tapes. The staff do crossword puzzles with me if it’s slow. They make me smile and laugh, often when I need it. They choose to showcase murals by local artists on their walls. They collaborate with other businesses on food drives when they see the need in the city around them. They host panels for students that want to learn more about the businesses downtown. They choose people over and over again. To summarize, Donna’s is made up of genuinely good people that are doing genuinely good things… and the Lola is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I've been a regular over at Donna's bar for a few years. The staff has always been kind to me and treated me fairly. Whether you're just looking for a casual drink or a good time on the weekends, Donna's Bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy yourself and blow off some steam! There's always events being planned and lots of local music too. One of my favorite aspects is that the owners really care about the safety of the guests, I dont think I've ever seen any trouble there. Its my favorite bar in Bowling Green, hands down!
